The copper base for the pendant measures 5.1cm (2inches) square.

Yellow jade, amber, brass and blue howlite necklace that can be worn as a bracelet. The brilliant blue and yellow colours makes it the perfect ode to summer.

This piece is designed to be worn three ways:

1. As a longer necklace, when you need to wear over tops and with jackets
2. Like a choker, when you're wearing summer dresses or strappy tops
3. As bulky bracelet

Dimensions and materials

The piece has three large dyed-howlite beads. The other stones are yellow jade and amber with two brass hammered discs.

The necklace measures 64cm (25 inches) in total and 47cm (18.2 inches) without the detachable leather cord.

It measures 5 by 7.5cm (2 by 3 inches) hanging on thick leather cord with a length of 49cm (19 inches). The necklace fastens with a sterling silver lobster clasp. The formed copper pieces are held together with sterling silver wire.

All beads are handmade using polymer clay. The necklace measures 57cm (22.2") and fastens with a sterling silver hook.

Manufacturing technique

The pendant is made with copper sheet that was hammered, formed and then heat colored. The heat coloring were done multiple times and interspersed with light sanding to emphasize the texture.

It is a reversible design but personally I prefer the rounded front. The back of the pendant has 6mm round jade beads.

Perfect to wear when you need something simple and stylish to compliment your outfit.

This necklace is made from 3mm (0.1") round and 1.2cm (0.5") by 8mm (0.3") oval black agate beads and was assembled with fine silver wire. The piece has a sterling silver catch. It is about 52.5cm (20.4") long.

This necklace has an interesting, bold design and should initiate comment whenever it is worn. The asymmetrical design with hammered copper circles around large polymer beads reminds me of orbits around planets.

The beads were handmade by me with polymer clay using a faux lapis lazuli technique. The large hammered copper loops are joined with silver jump rings to form the chain.

I made the beads on this necklace on my last trip to South Africa. The yellow and brown tones echo the dry African savannah and include two focal beads with an African motif.

This necklace forms part of a family of pieces using the same motif and colour scheme.

The necklace is approximately 67cm (26") long. The smallest beads measure 1cm (0.4") by 1.3cm (0.4") to 1cm (0.4") by 2cm (0.8"). The focal bead measures approximately 3cm (1") by 1.5 cm (0.3").

Each bead was handmade, varnished and strung together with waxed cord, finished with sterling silver findings.
