The earrings hangs at about 5cm. The blue, green and purple beads are made from glass. All metal is sterling silver.

The polymer clay beads were made using the millifiori caning technique. Pearlescent powders were included in the clay giving it extra dimension.

Silver and copper paisley shaped earrings. I am very pleased with how these came out - pretty and interesting.

Copper sheet amd sterling silver wire was used for this piece. The earring wire is also sterling silver.

Manufacturing technique

The copper sheet was cut, hammered and heat coloured. I wanted a very bright orange colour to go with the silver.

The metal sheet was then wire-wrapped into the earring base.

Inspiration

I've wanted to make paisley-inspired jewelry for ages, but this was the first time I was happy with the end result. I think the design is out of the ordinary.

The ovals were textured, formed to a rounded shape and heat coloured for an interesting effect.

With earrings I tend to focus on wearability first. I like the classic look of ovals and the way these move when you wear them. (I made myself a pair as well, I could not resist!)

The leaf shape was cut out of sterling silver sheet then hammered using a fold forming technique. The pieces were treated with liver of sulpher for a patina then brushed and polished to accentuate the texture.

Inspiration

These earrings were, in short, inspired by nature.

The carnelian beads were wire-wrapped onto the wire and hangs on sterling silver chain.

Whooooaaaa! They're enormous. Larger than life - look at me copper earrings made to be commented on.

The earrings measures 9 cm (1.7") and the leaves approximately 5.6 by 3.5cm (2.2 by .1.4"). The earring hooks were made with sterling silver.

I purposefully used thin metal sheet to ensure that they are not heavy.

The earrings were made from thin copper sheet then hammered using a fold forming technique.

The colours on the earrings range from a darkish purple to a dusky pinkish tinge and was heat coloured.

Inspiration

The fold forming technique was the inspiration for these earrings.

I also wanted to make earrings that were slightly outrageous.

These earrings have a touch of the bohemian about them. Gorgeous for work, if you're in a playful mood or if you just to add a bit of mystique to your persona.

They're quite large and have an approximate length of 7cm (3.6 inches) and a width of 3cm (1.3 inches).

Manufacturing technique

The manufacturing technique is pretty simple. The components for the base were soldered together and the turquoise chips were wire wrapped to the earring base.

Inspiration

I've always loved the colour of turquoise and like the hippy chic look of chandelier earrings.

I love the fact that these earrings go with any outfit. Keep them as your backup earrings to put on when you need to zoom out of the house or just because they make your ears look prettier.
